I’m waiting…I’m anticipating…I’m nervous…and its T-23 days until we launch our third service. Yep, that is the BIG news around The Journey North Community Church. We’ll have three services beginning Palm Sunday, April 5th. The service times are 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00.
That is the news, but what does it mean? In our Children’s Ministry, it means that class sizes will decrease, while the overall numbers increase. Teachers and Assistants per classroom will decrease, but the overall number will increase.
A year ago, even 2 years ago, as we talked about the potential of adding a third service I was scared to death. I would have told you that I didn’t think it could be done, and you could measure the level of peace I had for it in a micropipette.
Today, when we talk about expanding to the third service, I have confidence that God will provide the workers, will work out the details, and most importantly of all will lead us. People have asked, “Is this really the right time?” and with all my heart, I can say, “Yes!”
So today, I pray that God decreases me so that His kingdom can Increase.
