When I first began exploring the idea of what it would be like if we, as a church, began to function and position ourselves to make an eternal impact on the children we have contact with I had no idea where to start. I was frustrated and overwhelmed that I had this calling...this vision but it was all clouded over and I didn't know how to make it clear. This began to eat at me...I began to have dreams about it...my mind was occupied with the fear of starting down a path that looked foggy and undefinned. One day I expressed my life situation to a close friend and he asked me "have you made prayer your first work on this project?"
DING...DING...DING
All of a sudden I realized that I hadn't. That I had focused on what I thought I should do. I focused on what I thought were the steps to make this a reality.
Then I began to pray and pray and pray. As I did pray God began to clear up the foggy mess that was this vision. I began to see with crystal clarity the steps I would need to take.
If you look for a prayer pattern in the life of Jesus you'll notice that before a major event in his life he spent focused time in prayer. Even before he began his ministry he spent days on a hermitage with just him and his Father. We too should be doing the same. So let prayer be your first work.

What is Intentional CM?
Intentional CM is the vision that God has given me in creating an Intentional Children's Ministry.
Intentional CM or ICM is the conglomeration of different philosophies and the passion and vision that God has put in my heart for Children's Ministry.
This blog's purpose is to be a place where I can record my thoughts, experiences and vision.
Readers Warnings: Some posts may seem random and in truth they might very well be. But there here so you can understand my mental process and my experiences in the way that I do.
